Date: June 27 2026
Time: 15:00 to approximately 21:00
Location: 54 Redbank Drive, Overton, NS.
Directions: To VE1HRT QTH. Turn left after the Yarmouth Hospital and head towards the Yarmouth Light House, but don’t go to the Light House.
Less than 2 kms from the hospital you will see a white church on your left, slow down and turn right at the corner.
Drive very slowly, because 2 hundred yards after your turn you will turn left on to Redbank Drive. I hope to have a sign there. Red Bank Drive is very narrow and mostly one way traffic so be careful when driving up the lane, you may have to pull over for local traffic.
Follow the dirt lane, slowly… because of pot holes, children, dogs, rabbits and deer, all the way to the end, past he Lobster pots, around the corner and you will have arrived. The Radio Shack is a white 24 by 24 shed, the garage door will be open. Charlie, our dog will greet you. I might be here too, (hi hi).
Park at the Lobster pots or any where your vehicle fits on the lawn or in the woods.
We will also be standing by on the repeater frequency 146.730 MHz and simplex 146.520 MHz, to talk you in, if you need directions. Call or text 9027405794 my cell if you get lost.
Bring with you:
Chair, cooler-water-pop-….. for you.
Radio, tuner, power supply, feed line, you want to demonstrate or test on the HF Antenna.
Radio equipment you may want to trade sell or give away.
Coffee, donuts, cookies, cake…… for you and possibly share.

Agenda:
Around 15:00 or after, we will build and put up the Off Center Fed Dipole Antenna (OCFDA)
